Overview

This 12-day journey is designed for travelers who want to do more than see China’s most iconic landscapes. They want to understand them. From the futuristic skyline of Shanghai to the floating sandstone pillars of Zhangjiajie, the karst peaks of Guilin and Yangshuo, the Silk Road heritage of Xi’an, and the imperial heart of Beijing, the route is paired with deeper cultural context: in-depth introductions from expert local guides, conversations with residents and artisans, and unhurried time to absorb each place. The result is a slower, richer, and more reflective version of China’s classic scenic circuit, ideal for travelers who prefer learning over checklist-style sightseeing.
